(ECNS) -- At the invitation of Chinese President Xi Jinping, 26 foreign leaders, including Russian President Vladimir Putin and the top leader of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea Kim Jong Un, will attend China's V-Day commemorations in Beijing on Sept. 3, Assistant Foreign Minister Hong Lei announced on Thursday.
Some parliamentarians, deputy prime ministers, and heads of international organizations will also attend the commemorations.
